INDEX is a global association, headquartered in Frankfurt Germany. INDEX` objective is to achieve a worldwide harmonized level of industrial Explosion Protection. Health and Safety is a pre-requisite of all corporations and companies however interpretation and perceived compliance to ATEX/DSEAR requirements is all too often over complicated and misunderstood.
A common platform is needed to create a definitive understanding of Explosion Protection minimum requirements.
It is INDEX’ intention to grow rapidly throughout the Global Bulk and Solids industries, build a WIKIPLOSION online intelligence, provide an on-line tech library and many more things that help to raise the worldwide level of Industrial Safety, moreover INDEX is the driver for new technology and innovative safety practices and products. It’s research programme for example includes scientific work on Water Mist and other protection techniques.
