Industrial Data Communication Specialist Opens French Office

M.A.C. Solutions UK Limited, a specialist provider of Industrial Data Communication and M2M (machine-to-machine), KPI Asset Management, Change Management and Alarm Management solutions for the Process, Energy and Automation markets, has opened an office in Paris, France.

The office will provide local sales and technical support to customers in France, as well as the Benelux countries and Switzerland. Michel Legrand, Business Development manager of M.A.C. Solutions Sarl, will head up the new operation. The office will support a wide range of software and hardware products from M.A.C. Solutions, including its ProcessVue® Alarm Management software; Alarm Notification; AssetVue® M2M Cockpit (Key Performance Indicator management software suite); OPC Tunneling (Cogent); OPC Communication Suite (Kepware); Data Historian (Acron); Change Management software (MDT Autosave); web-based SCADA (Atvise); and marine-certified HMIs (Sonove).

All sales of the ProcessVue® Alarm Management software suite to customers in France, Benelux and Switzerland will be managed by the French office. M.A.C. Solutions has also recently signed reseller agreements for France with several of its key partners, including Kepware, Cogent, Videc, Atvise and MDT Software.

John Pritchard, Managing Director at M.A.C. Solutions UK Limited comments: “Over the last three years our export sales have increased from one per cent to 15 per cent of turnover. The opening of our French office – the first office we’ve opened in mainland Europe – will help us to deliver and support our products and services to a continuously growing customer base in the region. In the future, we expect to expand further into other parts of Europe including Germany. Outside of Europe, we’ve just signed a contract with a company in Brazil, who will act as a reseller for the country.”

M.A.C. Solutions expects a strong demand for its ProcessVue® and AssetVue® software suites in France.

AssetVue® is a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) asset management software suite targeted at small-to-medium sized manufacturers, including OEMs, machine builders, systems integrators and process equipment suppliers. Incorporating the latest Industry 4.0 and Internet servitisation technologies, the software helps companies maximise their revenues by identifying and delivering new value-added services that will improve their end customers’ performance. The AssetVue® software suite includes the FETCH Data Collector for eWON devices (4005CD and Flexy) and M2M Cockpit (Data Historian, Alarm Information Portal and Web HMI).
