International safety expert offers insight into solutions to protect the water industry

In the year of its 125th anniversary, Dräger will be showcasing a range of safety solutions at this year’s WWEM conference – aiming to help the water industry stay on top of the testing and calibration of its portable gas detection instruments, whilst saving time and money.

Solutions will include the Dräger X-dock, an instrument calibration and management system which allows companies to complete automatic bump testing and calibration in seconds, using just a fraction of the test gas traditionally used with many other systems.

The X-dock offers a robust documentation and reporting function so users can see the status of their portable gas detection instrument fleet at a glance and can produce calibration certificates without the need for a computer or printer.

It also has the flexibility and range of multiple gas inlets to facilitate the use of different gas mixtures for testing and calibration, making it a highly advanced piece of technology.

Dräger will also be demonstrating the innovative new communications system, the X-zone Com, which enables users to track gas detection levels from outside the areas being monitored.

Dräger’s Kevin Honner will be speaking at the event on calibration and function testing for portable gas detectors and Trevor Carol from Dräger will also be giving a talk on protecting the water industry.
