The range of educational and training opportunities offered by the Kistler Group is now certified to DIN ISO 21001. Kistler is taking this endorsement of the quality of its continuing education as the opportunity to establish the Kistler Academy and to continue expanding its range of training courses focusing on measurement technology. As well as covering advisory and aftersales service, these continuing education courses ensure that customers benefit from all-round support.

Kistler Training Range Now Certified To ISO 21001

Monitoring of production processes, calibrations and R&D are just some of the many areas where success depends on the correct approach to measurement technology and data. Well-trained staff are therefore essential in order to exploit the full potential of measurement technology. This is why the Kistler Group's experts have already been sharing their knowledge with users for many years. And the high quality of this training work has now received official confirmation – as of September 2021, Kistler is certified as an educational organization compliant with DIN ISO 21001 in the DACH region.

Basic and system training

Training and education must meet international standards in order to fulfill the requirements for ISO 21001 certification. For example: the courses offered must be internationally comparable, they must focus on the trainees' needs, and optimized learning environments must be available. Presenters are also only allowed to teach if they have the relevant technical and educational experience.

To ensure this, every Kistler presenter attends special courses to equip them with the necessary methodological expertise and teaching skills. Peter Jäger, who will head the new Kistler Academy, explains:

Peter Jager

Our goal is high-quality seminars that provide users of our measurement technology with precisely the information and knowledge they need to use Kistler products safely, efficiently and successfully. Participants benefit not only from the specialist expertise of our qualified presenters but also from exchanging experiences with other users.”

The comprehensive range is divided into two categories: basic training courses on technical measurement subjects such as management of measuring equipment and calibrations, and system training courses that focus on specific software and hardware products from Kistler, showing users how to achieve their goals. Anyone interested in this technical content can choose between courses in English and German. Courses are held at one of Kistler's sites or, on request, on site at customers' own company premises. Of course, staging of individual courses is dependent on the restrictions currently in force due to the pandemic. Our customers can make reservations at no risk.
