Leading UK supplier of automation parts and repairs moves to new building
Northern Industrial, one of the UK’s longest-established providers of industrial automation parts and repairs, are excited to announce their move to a much larger premises.
The new 30,000 sq foot site is twice as big as their current Blackburn location and will create five jobs next year. The decision to expand comes on the back of several years of growth which has been fuelled by a move into supplying manufacturers with new and obsolete automation parts over the Internet.
“We are really excited to announce the move” stated David Lenehan, Marketing Director at Northern Industrial. “Our new premises will enable us to hire new staff, increase stock levels and continue supporting users of automation equipment across the globe through our website nicontrols.com.”
“The move allows us to offer greater support to manufacturers who rely on obsolete automation equipment like drives and PLCs in their production machinery and we will also be able to expand our test facilities to improve our repair service.”
Plans to improve customer experience are also at the top of the agenda. The new trade counter will streamline customer service and there is more room for both bespoke test facilities and stock, which can only benefit those looking for new and refurbished automation equipment and repairs.
