Grundfos pumps have launched a new range of magnetic drive pumps with a motor range up to 22kW.
Ideal for pumping dangerous or aggressive liquid, the CRN MAGdrive eliminates the need for shaft seals, with the power from the motor being transmitted to the pump by magnetic force rather than a conventional coupling. Combined with a hermetically sealed liquid end, the pump is 100% leak free and due to the low magnetic loss is highly energy efficient.

The CRN MAGdrive operates up to a maximum pressure of 25 bar and has a temperature range between -30c to +120c and is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including: Refrigerants, crystallising liquids, hardening liquids, flammable liquids, toxic liquids and aggressive or corrosive liquids. An ATEX version of the CRN MAGdrive is also available.
