Using BFM® technology to improve bulk bag loading
Filling bulk bags without leakage is a challenge for any production line, and internal transfer points and packing areas are often dusty parts of the plant. So, having an easy to use, fast to change, leak-proof filling head is an essential tool for efficient operations.
BFM® fitting have used their patented spigot and snap-fit connector system to develop a fully sealed, inflatable bulk bag loading head that makes hygienic bag filling a breeze.
How does the BFM® Bulk Bag Loader work?
The BFM® Bulk Bag Loader is a three-layered, inflatable filling head that snaps easily into the patented BFM® spigot which is welded to the outlet chute. It features a stainless-steel central core, fully encased in BFM®’s strong, flexible, and highly certified Seeflex urethane.
The Bulk Bag Loader comes complete with an external air fitting that is simply plugged into a standard 8mm pneumatic air-line to inflate the super strong and flexible outer layer.
The superior seal of the BFM® fitting system means that the neck of the bulk bag will be securely held open and there will be no leaks during loading.
Once loading is complete, the outer sleeve can be instantly deflated for easy bag removal.

BFM® fitting has revolutionised industrial flexible connectors
A BFM® fitting generally fits between two pieces of machinery, either where a stationary machine connects to a moving one, or where access to product flow is needed. It comprises two steel spigots (or flanges) that are welded to your pipes and a snap-fit flexible, blue-band connector, or sleeve, that seats on the inside of the shaped portion of the two spigots, holding it securely in place.
Because they seal from the inside, BFM® fittings provide a 100% sealed connection, even if there is pressure or vacuum running through the system. This means no leaks, so no loss of valuable product and a much cleaner, safer and more efficient operating environment.
