Reinforcing Water Production Security: The SWRO 50C from NSI Mobile Water Solutions Tackles Water Scarcity
Water availability is a critical issue for industries, impacting operations, revenues, and sustainability goals. As droughts become more frequent, access to reliable water resources is increasingly uncertain. In this context, NSI Mobile Water Solutions (NSI MWS), a subsidiary of Nijhuis Saur Industries, introduces the SWRO 50C, a mobile seawater desalination system using reverse osmosis, as a key solution to water scarcity and quality challenges.
Addressing Water Scarcity with the SWRO 50C
The SWRO 50C is a modular system housed in a 40-foot container capable of producing up to 50 m³/h of treated water. Designed for flexibility and reliability, it is ideal for emergencies, maintenance, planned shutdowns, or commissioning projects. Equipped with a robust membrane system, high-pressure pump with energy recovery, and a cleaning-in-place (CIP) container, the SWRO 50C can handle a wide range of water qualities. Pre-filtration containers accompany the unit for optimal performance, and its compact, containerized design minimizes the operational footprint. Additional features, such as onboard climate control, enable deployment in challenging environments.
Sustainable and Flexible Water Solutions
NSI Mobile Water Solutions offers tailored services for both short-term crises and long-term requirements. Combining technologies like reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration, they treat diverse water sources, including seawater, rivers, groundwater, and even wastewater. This adaptability is essential as global water scarcity worsens.
The SWRO 50C exemplifies how industries can secure water supplies, reduce their water footprint, and enhance sustainability without capital investment. By adopting advanced water treatment technologies, businesses can strengthen resilience and contribute to global water security.
