New Acquisition for Temperature Control Specialist
Temperature control specialist ICS Cool Energy recently announced its acquisition of MTA UK, a specialist in compressed air and gas treatment products. The acquisition gives ICS Cool Energy a broader focus on the OEM market with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Compressed Air Treatment field.
MTA UK adds decades of knowledge to the team; in particular an advanced knowledge of compressed air solutions to improve energy savings, operating costs and reliability. The company is a specialist in compressed air dryers and filters up to 45 m3/min (1600 cfm) capacity offering a range of solutions including refrigeration dryers, adsorption dryers, aftercoolers, separators, filters, condensate drains, oil-water separators, high pressure networks and water cooling systems.
Compressed air can be a costly energy source if equipment is not measured up correctly and is not properly managed. It is of paramount importance to maintain and properly install compressed air treatment systems, as the air can often get hot, wet and contaminated which is not suitable for entry into the mains system. This merger provides a treatment to make the air more usable for the end user.
The optimum compressed air and gas treatment solution can only be achieved by the application of a complete treatment network. ICS Cool Energy’s extensive range of solutions ensures compressed air will be 100% free of condensate, oil and other impurities. It prides itself on its unbeatable energy efficiency standards, low pressure drops, maximum reliability and system simplification.
ICS Cool Energy supplies a range of energy-saving refrigeration dryers, and has reinvented the concept of thermal storage with MTA UK. New impulse technology offers important advantages in terms of energy savings, reliability and operating costs and its new DE iTECH system is able to adapt itself to the specific needs of a compressed air system.
The revolutionary design matches energy consumption to the work load to achieve energy savings while in operation. Sensors placed on refrigeration and compressed air circuits are able to control dryer operation, granting the most effective method of compressed air drying.
Russell Wilson, Director at ICS Cool Energy explains, “Together, we will be able to provide customers with a high quality, full range of dryers, alongside our existing offering. This is an exciting step for both companies and look forward to providing such a good offering for our customers.”
