Okazaki Manufacturing Company (OMC), a leading manufacturer of high quality, high accuracy temperature measurement products, including thermowells, mineral-insulated thermocouple and RTD cable, is pleased to announce that Adrian Hodgson has been appointed as the company’s new Sales Manager for the UK and Europe.
Adrian, who will be based in Cheshire, will focus on promoting OMC’s temperature measurement products to a variety of industry sectors, including petrochemicals and automotive. Adrian brings a wealth of experience from the temperature measurement industry. Having worked in the industry for more than 27 years, Adrian is now a familiar face to many companies in the UK petrochemicals sector.
Adrian commented: “I am looking forward to working closely with the people at Okazaki and in helping to grow the company’s presence outside of Japan, particularly in the UK and Europe. Whilst the Okazaki name and quality of the company’s products are well-known in Japan, my aim is to help increase the awareness of our brands in less familiar territories around the world.”
At a time when many UK-based manufacturing companies are contracting, OMC is bucking the trend by recruiting extra staff and investing in new premises. The company has just moved to larger premises in Taffs Well, near Cardiff. The premises provide increased capacity for future expansion, as well as improved office facilities and training suite.
