New eco-friendly solution for mobile dust extraction

Listen to this article

Dust extraction specialists, Dustcontrol, have introduced new eco-green motors into every appliance within their entire mobile dust extractor range.

Previously the motors were just used in Dustcontrol’s AirCube 500 and AirCube 2000 models. The upgrades now mean that 100% of Dustcontrol’s mobile dust extractor products include an eco motor. Each motor has 100w lower consumption than previous Dustcontrol motors, but despite this, they are more powerful and are still Application Class H rated.
James Miller, Dustcontrol UK’s General Manager, explains further: “We’ve had the technology for our eco motors since early last year where we have been using them in our AirCube range. It was always the plan to have all our mobile products equipped with these new motors, and it’s fantastic to have achieved this in just under 8 months.”
James continued: “The motors are a true innovation. They use less energy, but are more powerful than before. Here at Dustcontrol, we’re always keen to minimise the impact of our equipment on the environment.”
Indeed, and in an additional step to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum, all machine parts are locally sourced to the factory wherever possible too.
James commented: “We build our machines as heavy duty machines, out of Swedish steel. We have by no means compromised on quality by upping our environmental building strategies. Our dust extraction mobile products have been known to last up to 15 years with the average lifespan being between seven and eight years for competitor models. By having an above industry standard lifespan we are lowering life cycle costs to clients that in turn lowers their carbon footprint too.“
