New Range of RoHS Compliant Wired Strain Gauges Offer Fast Installation
HBM – a market leader in the field of test and measurement – has introduced a new range of RoHS compliant wired Strain Gauges which have been designed to both simplify and reduce installation time and offer improved performance.
The new HBM Strain Gauges are supplied ready-made to the required cable length, removing the need to solder the gauges which is time consuming and requires appropriate equipment and a higher installer skill level. Ease of installation has been further enhanced through the use of more flexible material in the connecting lines on stranded wires and TPE sheath, making it easier for customers to position during installation. This new material has the added benefit of increasing the Strain Gauges temperature range to 150°C.
Further changes to the product line include a lead free solder to ensure the Strain Gauges are RoHS-compliant and non-latching connections, which ensure reliability and also increases durability by providing significant strain relief.
HBM offers a special fast-lane service for small orders which ensures quick delivery, even with variable cable lengths.
