NOV MONO LAUNCHES ITS POPULAR M RANGE PUMPS ONTO THE EUROPEAN MARKET

A leading international designer and manufacturer of pumps, grinders and associated equipment has made one of its most popular pump ranges available to more customers by launching it in the European market. NOV® Mono® has announced the availability of its versatile range of ‘mini’ progressing cavity (PC) pumps – the Mono M Range – which have already proven extremely popular for many different types of applications in the UK.

“A small number of customers in Europe have already experienced the benefits of our M range pumps for themselves and the feedback we have received has been extremely positive,” explains NOV Mono Key Account Manager, Ian Davies. “This has prompted us to make them available in Europe, as we know that there are a huge number of applications for a thoroughly proven, small-to-medium sized PC pump in that market.”

The M Range pumps feature a precision-engineered rotor which rotates eccentrically inside a resilient double-helix stator. This creates a series of moving cavities which progress uniformly, carrying the pumped media with them from suction point to discharge. The stainless steel rotor, and the abrasion and chemical resistant stator, allow the pumps to handle liquids which have a high viscosity or solids in suspension. The pumps are self-priming and able to achieve suction lifts of up to 8 metres.

Designed for a wide range of different domestic and light industrial uses which require a steady output pressure and non-pulsing flow, the M Range includes small to medium capacity models. These are available with different voltage power supplies which increases the range of suitable applications. Their 3.45 bar pressure capability is also higher than that of the traditional type of centrifugal pump often used for this type of application.

“The M Range pumps have been designed for quick and simple disassembly, and the minimal maintenance they require can be completed without any special skills or tools,” adds Ian. “They also take up a minimal amount of space and have been thoroughly proven on hundreds of widely-differing applications in the UK.  We feel confident that they will be welcomed by our customers in Europe.“
