A UK paper mill has improved its throughput and reduced downtime following the installation of a new Borger Multicrusher, after years of suffering from clogging problems.
The site's previous grinder was unable to cope with solids, resulting in frequent breakdowns and costly replacement parts.
With the Borger Multicrusher in place, the mill is benefiting from significant cost savings, as well as lowering scheduled servicing costs. This is a result of the grinder's Maintenance-In-Place design, which offers easy access to moving parts through a simple back-pull-out system. No special tools are required, which simplifies maintenance.
