Power plant conductivity measurement in water treatment and cycle chemistry

Listen to this article

Conductivity measurement throughout a power plant treatment system has typically required a variety of sensors to span the range. With METTLER TOLEDO new sensor technology this is no longer necessary and the measurements can be made using a single conductivity sensor.
Topics discussed include:
·       Make up water measurements
·       Sensor simplification
·       Cycle chemistry measurements

The UniCond conductivity sensor with integrated Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM®) has a built-in measuring circuit and calibration memory to achieve highest accuracy. It provides a robust digital output signal. The reliability is further enhanced by an especially wide electrode spacing to prevent particle fouling between electrodes.
