Torqueflow-Sydex is able to offer a comprehensive range of products for solids handling, and solids reduction. Our shaftless screw conveyors have been developed and designed for efficient transportation of materials with minimal maintenance, and maximum reliability. The shaftless screw conveyor rotates inside a trough with a maximum inclination of 30°. The trough has bolted covers for simplified maintenance.
The design and the selection of materials can easily be adapted each time to the properties of the product to be conveyed (Waste water treatment application, food or industry, etc.)

In order to reduce maintenance costs the Gearbox is directly connected to the shaftless spiral above the discharge point. Therefore the only moving part in contact with the material is the screw itself, eliminating any requirements for expensive bearing or mechanical seal arrangements.
Where protection of pumps or equipment is of paramount importance, Torquelfow-Sydex can offer a number of solutions including the Super Shredder inline disintegrator. The Super Shredder reduces a variety of tough solids to fine particles whilst remaining practically invisible to the flow. This unit employs a dependable low speed, high-torque mechanism that provides effective operation and long life in sewage and sludge pipeline applications.
The Super Shredder was specifically designed for high capacity, durability and ease of maintenance. Because of its unique open spherical cutter design it can handle higher flows than any other inline grinder made. Its cutting elements are constructed of hard-faced stainless steel with a surface hardness in excess of Rc60.
With only two cutting elements, the Super Shredder is unsurpassed for ease of maintenance. Models are available for pipe sizes from 100 mm through 600 mm handling flows up to 350l/s.
