Pyroban exhibiting hazardous area mobile power at ADIPEC
Explosion protection company, Pyroban, will demonstrate its hazardous area mobile power solutions at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) from 10 – 13 November 2013 at ADNEC, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
More than 51,000 visitors are expected at ADIPEC 2013 where Pyroban Group will exhibit, along with Pyropress Engineering, on stand H:9 S:9430.
Pyroban manufactures and supplies explosion protection up-fit kits for almost any size and brand of engine. Current projects in the company’s factories include Cummins, Perkins, John Deere, Volvo, Detroit, MTU and Caterpillar brands.
“Exhibiting at ADIPEC gives us the ideal opportunity to show visitors how explosion protection can be fitted to engines onsite” says Gary Smith, Business Development Manager – Oil and Gas, Pyroban. “Companies often believe that in order to protect engines and equipment against the risk of an explosion, they must purchase a new engine, or that the conversion must take place offsite.”
The ‘hazardous area mobile power’ message that will be communicated at ADIPEC, highlights that Pyroban can retrofit existing engines, and trained engineers can fit equipment anywhere, helping to reduce transport costs.
A detailed scale model of a Pyroban powerpack, suitable for safe operation in Zone 2 hazardous areas, will be on display on the stand to show how Pyroban systems eliminate the risk of explosion from hot surfaces, sparks, overspeed and other hazards. Systems available from Pyroban include exhaust gas coolers, inlet shut-off valves, spark and flame arrestors and other explosion proof components.
Some components manufactured by Pyroban Group companies will also be on display, including switches and transmitters from Pyropress Engineering, as well as thermal treatment solutions for reducing Hotspots, suitable for oil and gas applications.
Pyroban specialists will be available on the stand at ADIPEC to discuss the company’s hazardous area Consulting and Training services and the global support network.
“Events such as ADIPEC provide a valuable opportunity to engage with new and existing customers and learn about new projects within the oil and gas sector,” says Mark Jackson, Business Manager from Pyroban. “It also enables us to listen to customers’ issues and discuss solutions, whilst demonstrating what explosion protection with Pyroban means.”
Pyroban builds and supplies complete explosion proof mobile power packages and converts forklifts and mobile equipment for use in hazardous areas. The company also offers after sales service and support, as well as training.
