QUALITY HOSES FROM ACTION SEALTITE

Listen to this article

Liquid transfer connection specialists Action Sealtite offer a range of Teflon hoses for a wide variety of markets.

Ideal for food, pharmaceutical, chemical and engineering sectors, the Xtraflex range, distributed by Action Sealtite, is designed with the environment in which it will be used in mind. Made from polytetrafluoretheylene (PTFE), the hose is available in three different models.

The Smoothflex, smooth bore, non convoluted model is made from ultra hygienic material with a stainless steel helix to offer maximum flexibility. This hose boasts good vacuum and kink resistance and performs well in extreme conditions.

The Easycrimp hose is a low profile, helically convoluted model. This means that instead of rings, there is a helix inside the pipe which makes for easy cleaning as the product simply flows out. It is designed specially for tail fittings and assembly without de-convoluting the inner liner.

Action Sealtite also offer the Coreflex helically convoluted model with external vacuum wire. Ideal for high vacuum hose applications this suction/ pressure hose has excellent mechanical strength and kink resistance.

Joe Brennan, Business Development Manager at Action Sealtite said: “Our trained sales team can assist making the correct hose choices or even offer bespoke solutions for your specific sector needs. We offer on-site visits and can also provide hose management options.”

Alternative braid materials such as stainless steel, polymer and PVDF are available as well as virgin or anti-static liners. End fittings are offered from an extensive choice of threaded, hygienic or flange types and are available in stainless steel, brass, carbon steel and various other materials.

Teflon PTFE is impervious to almost all known chemicals and is UV resistant. Combined with a temperature range of -60 to 260 degrees and sizes ranging from 3-150mm, this product is unique and problem solving.

The Xtraflex hoses are part of a comprehensive range of liquid transfer equipment from Action Sealtite, including couplings and hose reels.
