ReFaC looks to offer broader range of regulatory issues beyond the REACH legislation
ReFaC is expanding its service portfolio beyond the REACH legislation and the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulations (CLP) and is now seeking to assist its clients to comply with a broader range of regulatory issues.
The Chemical Business Association (CBA) acquired control of ReFaC in May 2013 which has provided the impetus for developing its services to meet the broader regulatory needs of the chemical sector. ReFaC’s evolving services include compliance with biocide regulations and arranging toxicology and other tests as well as interpreting their results.
To match this evolutionary development, the company has changing its name to the Regulatory Facilitation Company (from the REACH Facilitation Company). The company acronym- ReFaC – and logo, remains unchanged.
ReFaC Chairman, Dr Neville Prior, said, “ReFaC has become a very successful business with an excellent reputation for delivering cost-effective regulatory services in relation to the REACH and CLP legislation. We are now seeking to grow the business and the ReFaC brand so it is able to deliver a wider portfolio of regulatory services as well as being able to serve other geographies with developing regulatory frameworks.”
