Pressure relief valves

Brownell Ltd pressure relief valves have introduced a large range of sizes to prevent damaging pressure differentials in a wide range of industrial applications.
Flow rate requirements from just 0.1 litre/min up to10,000 litres/min depending on the applications and maximum allowable differential pressures.

In the event of increasing pressure due to system malfunction or environmental heating (or cooling). The relief valves will open at the set point and relieve the pressure of air or gas until a safe working level is achieved. The relief valves automatically reset when the closing is reached and continues to maintain a safer working level.

The use of relief valves allows designers to construct enclosures and instruments in light weight materials using the relief valves to maintain safe working pressures.

Relief valves can be used on cargo containers being transported by air. They can be set to prevent an in flight hazard in the event of pressurisation failure or system malfunction.

Most Pressure Relief Valves are factory set, some may set on installation.
