SAFE AND EASY DRY DISCONNECTION FROM ACTION SEALTITE
The Dry Link ultimate dry disconnect coupling offers a reliable solution for companies moving hazardous or costly fluid products, where spillage or vent into atmosphere must be prevented.
Distributed exclusively across the UK and Europe by liquid transfer connection specialists, Action Sealtite, Dry Link boasts very low pressure drop during disconnection, making it ideal for critical applications.
Available in a range of sizes from one to four inches, the patented valve mechanism is light weight and easy to use. A built in swivel on the hose unit makes for simple and swift connection. Two identical discs securely seal flow in the line and a mechanical interlock prevents accidental opening whilst the coupling is in use. For added safety, the discs must be sealed and closed before the coupler and adaptor can be separated. Interlocks also prevent the coupling halves being opened accidentally whilst disconnected.
With maximum working pressures of between 8.3 bar and 14.3 bar, Dry Link has a drip free design, offering greater protection for personnel and the environment. It also completely eliminates spillage clean up costs which can be costly.
The low maintenance hose coupling has few internal components, creating an impressive flow rate that allows for the transfer of high viscosity fluids and even some powders, with absolutely no drips or spills. The adapter and coupler can work at temperatures as low as -29 Degrees C and as high as 110 Deg C with the right seal. In some cases the temperature may even be higher. Action Sealtite will advise you on which choice is right for your product.
Joe Brennan, Business Development Manager at Action Sealtite said: “Dry Link provides a revolutionary, reliable liquid transfer solution which is a must for companies working with hazardous products. Minimising loss of product and profit, it can also help companies to meet the most stringent health and safety and environmental concerns. ” Action Sealtite also laser etch all units before delivery in order to offer full traceability and to document service and repair throughout the life of the product.
The Dry Link coupling is available in various body materials and there is a choice of seals according to your product. Options include keyed units to prevent cross connecting of different fluid lines as well as an electro polished unit specifically for the pharmaceutical industry.
