Requirements placed on plants and machines in the food industry environment go far beyond the general machinery construction standard. All surfaces must be as flat as possible and designed without gaps or intermediate spaces. Plants and systems are in some cases cleaned using aggressive procedures in order to secure the appropriate level of hygiene throughout the complete process.
