Single Beam Scanning UV-Vis Spectrophotometer for University

Leeds based Spectronic Camspec have recently supplied Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh with a new Camspec 501 Spectrophotometer.

The 501 is a single beam scanning UV-Vis Spectrophotometer with an onboard LCD display. William Thomas, Experimental officer  with Heriot Watt’s Flow Assurance and Scale team told us ‘Our Camspec 501 Spectrophotometers allow us to monitor tracers in line and in real time, drastically reducing our core characterisation timescales and making our test work immensely more efficient’.

Camspec Spectrophotometers are in service with many of Europe’s leading universities and research labs, where their high performance optics and low cost consumables make them an instrument of choice.
