Snap Together IP69 Enclosure Lock for Wash Down Area Applications
The new Program 1000 IP69 lock from EMKA is a snap together design with exceptional sealing (against high pressure steam jet wash) and full electrical insulation.
It is well suited to a range of frequent wash down area applications such as those to be found in food processing situations. This includes control cabinets and enclosures, as well as pneumatic equipment housings.
Cost saving and high performance in arduous conditions are obvious benefits – in addition the reinforced polyamide lock unit with matching cam is smoother in operation by virtue of its low friction material which also means less wear/damage on cabinet paintwork.
For additional rigidity the unit may be fitted with a snap-in zinc/steel cam in the case of highly sealed and secure applications where maximum strength is required.
