Weld overlay cladding and fabrication specialist Arc Energy Resources has seen three of its key certifications renewed following stringent audits during the first quarter of 2011.
The company’s ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification was renewed following a Lloyds audit, and its ISO 3834-2 certification for fusion welding of metallic materials, which had previously been audited by Lloyds, was approved for the first time by The Welding Institute.
In addition, Arc Energy’s qualification to the internationally renowned ASME U and R Stamps were renewed. ASME is the influential body that establishes the codes and rules for the design, construction, inspection and testing of pressure vessels, nuclear plant and boilers.
The renewal of these three accreditations adds to Arc Energy’s impressive list of existing qualifications, which also includes ISO 14001:2004 environment management system and Investors in People.
Later this year, a new health and safety management system developed and implemented by Arc Energy’s health & safety manager, Mark Johnson, will also be audited by Lloyds Register for OHSAS 18001 certification.
