Launched in 2009, Swagelok University offers technical, self-paced courses developed by instructional designers and training professionals in conjunction with subject matter experts. The service is designed to aid industries in overcoming potential knowledge gaps between established workers on the verge of retirement and new graduates.
With Continuing Education Unit (CEU) values, courses aid plant maintenance, safety, production and instrumentation personnel in general industry with keeping pace with today’s fluid systems.
The platform expansion includes:
Pre-Made Bundles: Customers can now choose from 17 pre-made training bundles. Each bundle features a defined set of courses with a curricula approach for training on a specific topic. Topics include Analytical Instrumentation, Alternative Energy, Fluid System Basics, Maintenance, Materials, Plant Operation, and more. Each bundle offers a CEU value and is available under a single ordering number for easy purchase.
Custom Bundles: Customers who want to tailor their employees’ learning experience further can compile their own individual bundles based on learner needs. Bundles are available in packs of 10, 20 and 30 courses. Each bundle will have a CEU value.
A la Carte: Swagelok University now offers the ability to purchase courses on an individual basis. Each course is assigned a CEU value.
The program has built-in functionality that records individual training activity and progress, enabling users to easily monitor their usage and progress. The reporting function displays not only completed courses, but results from testing that is incorporated into the courses.
Subscriptions are valid for one year from date of activation. Swagelok offers complimentary trial subscriptions, offering full access to 12 courses over 30 days.
