The new GT03 touch panels – welcome to a new member of the "TOUGH PANELS" family

Listen to this article

There is a large range of touch terminals available, but only a few types are suitable for operation under extreme conditions.

We would like to introduce the newest member of the touch terminal family. With its weatherproof display it is optimally suited for use in very bright or damp environments.
Whenever operation conditions are difficult, for example when the panel comes into contact with dust, humidity or is exposed to sunlight, the display has to fulfill tough requirements. The perfect solution for difficult visibility and temperature conditions is Panasonic”s GT-E series. The panels are equipped either with a 3.5″ (GT03-E) or a 5.7″ (GT32-E) TFT display (QVGA) with 4096 colors.
The panel brightness is 700cd/m2 (cd = brightness in Candela), guaranteeing good visibility of complex display images even under direct sunlight.
Features especially for outdoor use include an operation temperature range from -20°C up to +60°C, resistance to a relative humidity of 10 to 90 percent, an anti-glare layer, UV coating to slow down aging, IP67 rating, and a large viewing angle.
Another feature of the GT03-E panels is their compact size of 98x86x30 (WxHxD) and their low power consumption (1.9W for monochrome displays, 3.1W for color displays).
Both GT03-E and GT32-E have the same resolution of 320×240 pixels.
The latest version of the programming software GTWIN allows you to load data via USB cable from the SD card in your programmable display to your computer. The multi-language exchange function now also supports applications in Vietnamese and Russian.
Here is a summary of the highlights of the GT03-E “TOUGH PANELS”:

  • 3,5 inch TFT display
  • Monochrome display with 16 shades of gray or color display with 4096 colors
  • Suitable for extreme operation conditions (-20°C to + 60°C ambient temperature)
  • UV protection with the help of a front layer slows down the aging process
  • Excellent visibility, brightness, and contrast; anti-glare panel
  • IP67, high resistance against humidity, water, steam, etc.
