ULTRASONIC SIEVING SYSTEM FOR USE WITH FARLEYGREENE MACHINERY AND OTHER SIEVE MANUFACTURERS SYSTEMS

Listen to this article

Ultrasonic deblinding systems are used to eliminate mesh blinding or blocking and can accelerate throughput”s by 400% in some cases.
The new generation of digital ultrasonic’s uses frequency variation. The system has a continuously varying wave applied to the mesh screen; older systems use a single wave frequency which commonly leads to heating and hot spots which causes premature mesh failure. These types also require each screen to be tuned to allow the system to work correctly.

The ‘Sonotech’ system does not require this as the generator finds it own frequency and uniformly washes over the entire screen which saves on mesh re-screening costs. Another huge benefit is the ultrasonic converter is situated outside of the internal sieving area which eliminates the problems of material caking on the converter and makes the mesh frame much easier to clean. The system can also run up to 3 screens from one control box something which cannot be achieved on other systems without using a separate generator for each mesh requiring deblinding.
The new Farleygreene ‘Sonotech’ system can be fitted easily to all Farleygreene’s Sievmaster range of screening machines, as well as a simple retro fit onto other manufacturers existing ultrasonic mesh frames.
Test units are available for demonstration at our test facility or on site trials can be arranged.
