No one would really consider bringing yet another PLC into the already overcrowded UK market, but when Siemens decided to stop the S7-200 range NACOM Automation Ltd decided it was too good an opportunity to miss and have launched the UniMAT UN200 series in the UK – compatible in every way with the Siemens S7-200 and programmed with Siemens Step7 Micro/Win, the UN 200 series enables companies to use already developed programmes.
The UN 200 range has two basic CPU options the UN224 and the UN226 both available with transistor outputs or relay outputs, as well as a full range of expansion modules including digital, analogue and thermocouple I/O and a range of special modules and accessories.
Starting at just £179 for a UN 214-1AD23-0XB0 with 14 Inputs and 10 Outputs expandable up to 256 total I/Os what’s not to like.
