Delivering consistent deployment for DIN mount industrial switches with up to 75% faster installation than do-it-yourself options

Panduit, the world-class developer and provider of physical infrastructure solutions, expands the Network Zone System offering with the launch of its new Universal Network Zone System, providing rapid and reliable deployment of Industrial Ethernet networks between the enterprise and plant floor with maximum design flexibility. Engineered with Panduit best practices and meeting UL 508A, Type 4/12 or 4X, IP66 and CE, the Universal Network Zone System offers improved network safety and reliability.

According to Steve Timian, VP, Business Development, Panduit, “The Universal Network Zone System provides customers with the ability to implement a wide variety of switch and application requirements. Our scalable and flexible building block architecture solution saves installation time by including both copper and fibre connectivity, cable management, grounding, and power with UPS and PoE options in a single enclosure.”

“In a market that is driving towards IT and OT convergence, users seek industrial network zone solutions that are flexible and agile, reduce installation and implementation time, and minimise risks, guesswork and uncertainty”, according to Craig Resnick, Vice President, ARC Advisory Group. “These market drivers are offset by end users and OEMs losing technical expertise to retirement and downsizing, no longer having the in-house technical talent to do the system layout and design, select and purchase components, and install and troubleshoot the system.

Panduit’s Universal Network Zone System addresses these market demands by providing scalable, pre-engineered, pre-designed and pre-packaged systems that are suited to a wide variety of switches and cables; are equipped with cable management systems logically designed for quick system connectivity and diagnostics, can be installed and deployed safely, reliably and quickly by less experienced personnel; and address all appropriate power, electrical and safety standards and certifications for a wide range of applications.”
