Using Rainwater Harvesting Tanks to take Advantage of this Free Resource
As the rain continues into February, Farmers throughout the country are being urged to help alleviate flooding through pumping and not exacerbating situations through water channel dredging and similar. But they are also being urged to start storing and using this excess water through rainwater harvesting, including the implementation of rainwater harvesting tanks.

But it’s not only commercial organisations that can benefit and many private developments are also getting to grips with the benefits of rainwater harvesting. Construction of what is described as the UK’s first eco town is underway in Oxfordshire. The initial phase of the build will begin next year, eventually providing up to 6,000 sustainable new homes, all of which will feature rainwater harvesting tanks.
