The Versatility of Grundfos Pumps
At first glance, there may not appear to be many similarities between Edinburgh University, Wimbledon, the Bloomberg HQ and the Queensferry Crossing. However, there is one thing that links them and that is the fact that they have all been recipients of Grundfos pumps in 2017.
The Grundfos solutions were as varied as the projects they are now part of. They included a 6-pump booster set to meet peak Wimbledon demands for water during the Championship; circulators that will supply the heating and cooling requirement to the refurbished McEwan Hall in Edinburgh University; a packaged pump solution to the exceptionally energy efficient Bloomberg HQ in the heart of the City of London; as well as a pump washdown set that will keep the new Queensferry Crossing – the longest bridge of its type in the world – operational.
These are just a few examples of the many projects that have benefitted from Grundfos working with them to deliver bespoke solutions in response to their particular needs.
No doubt 2018 will throw up many challenges, but Grundfos will be there to offer the correct support for all the applications and challenges they will encounter along the way.
