Water and Wastewater Treatment Divisions Unite Under One Brand
SUEZ environnement has united its UK based water and wastewater treatment subsidiaries under a single brand name. Going forward, the companies formerly known as Purite, Ondeo Industrial Solutions and B & V Group will share the unified brand and identity of SUEZ environnement, providing solutions for the sustainable management of resources to customers and stakeholders.
The SUEZ environnement Group operates in more than 70 countries across the globe. Over its 150 year long history, the Group has amassed more than 40 different brands, representing leading specialist divisions in the resourcing and management of water, waste and environmental services. Uniting these under a single brand simplifies this complex multi-brand structure and creates synergies between the Group’s divisions to the benefit of customers and stakeholders across the globe.
Purite, a global leader in water purification systems for the healthcare, laboratory and industrial sectors will become Water Purification Systems UK. B & V Group, a leading provider of water treatment chemicals and services, which more recently joined SUEZ environnement, will be the Water Conditioning Services UK division. Ondeo Industrial Solutions, which provides water and wastewater treatment services to major companies in the food and beverage, oil and gas, and chemical industries among others, will become Industrial Water UK.
John Boulton, Managing Director of SUEZ environnement Water Purification UK and Industrial Water UK said, “We’re proud to be joining our sister business units within our global group under a single brand with a unified voice. For our customers and business partners this offers an enhanced service, access to broad ranging expertise and efficiency gains. This is particularly important as effective and sustainable water management is one of the biggest and most complex challenges that businesses are facing, now and into the future.”
The brand unity also heralds a new era for SUEZ environnement, which is harnessing its vast expertise to focus its business on the sustainable management of resources through four main activities. These include the recycling and reuse of waste; the management of the extended water cycle; water treatment solutions; and consulting services for sustainable urban and regional development.
Jean Louis Chaussade, Group Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ environnement said, “As businesses, our role in society is changing. We are now becoming managers of resources that are essential for life and development. The circular economy, which is causing resource management to shift from a consumption-based approach to a strategy based on use and re-use, is vital. As leaders in this area we are ready to help our customers and stakeholders to meet the challenges of this resource revolution.”
