Watson-Marlow enhances strong European connections providing further international support for Flexicon Liquid Filling
Watson-Marlow Fluid-Technology Group (WMFTG) is pleased to confirm that it will be providing the sales and technical support for Flexicon in both Poland and the Czech Republic from January 2022.
As part of WMFTG, Flexicon is an experienced leader in aseptic filling, specialising in the development and manufacture of precise, efficient and flexible filling systems for biotechnology, diagnostic and pharmaceutical markets.
Flexicon’s products have been distributed across Poland and the Czech Republic by Arcon, a group recognised for supplying high-quality equipment for the manufacturing and process industries. As the Flexicon product distribution agreements with Arcon Warszawa Sp. z.o.o., Poland, and Arcon Machinery a.s., Czech Republic, come to an end, WMFTG wants to thank everyone at Arcon for their support, and announce that it will take over the direct sales and support for Flexicon products in these areas.
From 1st January 2022, Watson-Marlow’s Flexicon experts will enhance support, validation and continuity of supply for valued customers in both Poland and the Czech Republic. WMFTG are striving to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible and reassure existing customers using the products in validated processes that this announcement will not change fluid path materials in any way. Production locations, unique part numbering systems, and all materials used in the fabrication of Accusil tubing and asepticsu single-use assemblies will remain the same as before.
Mai Møllekær, WMFTG Regional Director EMEA, commented: “We prioritise delivering the highest quality equipment and services to our customers all over the world and we are looking forward to this next stage in our European partnerships. Flexicon’s forward-looking product development policy continues to drive expansion of a unique high-quality range of products including the new PF7+ tabletop filler. Our sales engineers in Poland and the Czech Republic are available to help customers throughout the transition and we will continue to offer expert support on any validation needs and pumping requirements.”

About us
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) peristaltic tube and hose pumps meet requirements including: value for money; low cost of ownership; reliability and ease of maintenance to the food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining and many other industries.
We demonstrate how pumps deliver significant process efficiencies over the lifetime of the equipment. Whether performing flavouring addition in food processing, chemical metering in water treatment or mineral recovery, we have a solution which can cut pump downtime and reduce costs through higher accuracy metering and transfer. WMFTG has dedicated application engineers available to help customers make the right pump and tubing choice from a range providing microlitres per minute to 80 cubic metres per hour flow rates.
The only part of the pump to come into contact with the product is the tube or hose. This means there are no seals or valves that can wear or fail. Replacing the tube or hose can be performed quickly and safely. Peristaltic pump benefits include:
Total fluid containment with no seals No ancillaries Handle viscous and abrasive slurries and sludge Self-priming capability Dry running without damage to the pump In addition to their range of positive displacement pumps, Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group has added PTFE-lined chemical and industrial hoses to their range. Aflex hoses are reinforced to withstand the most severe conditions and use.
