Watson-Marlow launches new website
Watson-Marlow Pumps Group, the market leader in positive displacement pump technology, has re-launched its UK website (www.watson-marlow.co.uk) as part of a significant investment its global online presence. A key objective of the re-launch is to provide both new and existing customers with access to sector-oriented application information and an easier route to correct product selection.
Developed in response to extensive online user trials and cutting-edge usability research, the new Watson-Marlow UK website will also provide a much clearer picture of the solutions now available from the company’s six individual businesses.
The structure and navigation of the new site are clearly focused towards the customer – whether they are clear what they are looking for, or if help and support is needed.
Clear signposting is provided to support queries regarding specific applications or pump and tubing selection. Content is written and organised in such a way that users will be able to find solutions to their particular process challenges with greater ease and relevance.
Mike Sullivan, Group Marketing Manager of Watson-Marlow, comments: “It is of paramount importance that our website provides our existing and prospective customers valuable, relevant and easily-retrievable information. We are committed to a process of continuous development of our customer communications platforms – and the launch of the new site is a very significant part of this activity.”
Much of the previous site’s content has been completely over-hauled, giving web-users a more direct and easier route to a wealth of valuable material including product information, applications case studies, advice on pump and tubing selection, as well all the latest company news.
The site also benefits from a significant ‘downloads’ section which provides users with easy access to product literature, data sheets and useful supporting information.
Watson-Marlow Pumps Group’s global ‘.com’ site was launched earlier this year.

About us
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) peristaltic tube and hose pumps meet requirements including: value for money; low cost of ownership; reliability and ease of maintenance to the food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining and many other industries.
We demonstrate how pumps deliver significant process efficiencies over the lifetime of the equipment. Whether performing flavouring addition in food processing, chemical metering in water treatment or mineral recovery, we have a solution which can cut pump downtime and reduce costs through higher accuracy metering and transfer. WMFTG has dedicated application engineers available to help customers make the right pump and tubing choice from a range providing microlitres per minute to 80 cubic metres per hour flow rates.
The only part of the pump to come into contact with the product is the tube or hose. This means there are no seals or valves that can wear or fail. Replacing the tube or hose can be performed quickly and safely. Peristaltic pump benefits include:
Total fluid containment with no seals No ancillaries Handle viscous and abrasive slurries and sludge Self-priming capability Dry running without damage to the pump In addition to their range of positive displacement pumps, Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group has added PTFE-lined chemical and industrial hoses to their range. Aflex hoses are reinforced to withstand the most severe conditions and use.
