KROHNE UK, esteemed globally for delivering ‘best in class’ products for mass and volume flow measurement, continue to impress with the OPTIMASS 2000 Coriolis mass flowmeter in Super Duplex, available in 3 sizes (4” to 12”).
The OPTIMASS 2000 Coriolis mass flowmeter is primarily aimed at the Oil and Gas industry, although it is well suited to bulk measurement in many other applications, measuring products such as syrup, molasses and raw chemicals. Known for its unique ‘compact envelope’ and innovative straight tube design, the OPTIMASS 2000 will provide accurate measurement of volume, mass, density, and concentration. This design can be fitted in the tightest of spaces with a minimum of headroom, without compromising the accuracy or performance.

The OPTIMASS 2000 is now available in a version that utilises Super Duplex material for all wetted parts; flange, splitter and measuring tube, which provides superior resistance to corrosion and additional strength making it the ideal product for sour environments that contain hydrogen sulphide (H₂S). This new version of the OPTIMASS 2000 can claim even higher pressure performance, operating up to 180 bar at 20˚C and 130 bar at 130˚C!
The meter is also available with a PED approved secondary containment of 150 bar at 20˚C and 100 bar at 130˚C. This will ensure that in the unlikely event of a tube failure, the product will still be contained within the secondary containment casing.
The OPTIMASS 2000 continues to be Straight, Safe and Best under pressure but now for sour environments, there is an even better option, the OPTIMASS 2000 Super Duplex.
