“Grab your process by the horns”

Engineers working from within quarry & construction environments have found they have excellent results when moving abrasive liquids involving stones, gravel and suspended slurries from using the unique Advanced™ Brahma™ flap valve pump designed by Wilden® Pump. A tough environment certainly calls for a durable design and performance! These units regularly perform on site proving themselves time and again, although their versatility lends itself to a majority of situations, meaning in some cases one pump CAN do everything.

The Advanced™ Brahma™ comes equipped with the patented Wilden® Pro-Flo X™ Air Distribution System featuring the Efficiency Management System (EMS). The EMS optimises the operation of the Brahma unit with the turn of a integral control dial (see picture) mounted on top of the air valve. This enables the pump user to select directly on the unit the desired efficiency point and flow rate that best suits the application. This results in higher performance and lower operating costs for air consumption plus minimised parts fatigue, coupled with greater performance flexibility! All of which sound like bonuses right?

The Wilden® flap valve system has been designed to allow free passing of solids without blocking or stalling the cycling of the pump action whilst carring out routine tasks. It also means product entrapment with settling solids on intermittent duty applications can be totally minimised as fluid has no cavities to fill or niches leaving sitting product that could internally damage your unit. The pump features top suction and bottom discharge with large internal clearances for solid passing up to 2″ and 3″ diameter dependent on your flow requirements. The unique beauty of having these capabilities is further enhanced by the decreased amount of downtime and reduced cost in maintenance all thanks to the simplicity of its classic Wilden® design.

At Air Pumping Engineering Services we supply the Wilden® Brahma™ pumps for purchase or for per-week hire usage for maximum client convenience.
