WMFTG Launches New Video Content For Wastewater Treatment Industry

Listen to this article

The launch of a new documentary-style video which focuses on the capabilities of Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group in the water & wastewater treatment industry has been launched on YouTube and other social channels this week.

The video features Siltbuster, a long-standing UK customer who has used WMFTG’s peristaltic pumps extensively in its applications which are hired to customers worldwide.

The video showcases the strength of WMFTG’s offering in wastewater treatment as well as the design and quality of its products. WMFTG’s peristaltic pumps have been deployed in construction, municipal and industrial water treatment applications all over the world where they are relied upon to overcome the challenges of safe, reliable pumping of abrasive slurries and hazardous chemicals common to the industry.

The video will be of particular interest to plant managers and engineers, procurement and designers working in the field of wastewater treatment – as well as engineering procurement contractors involved in the design and build of new plants.

Rachel Pallett – Regional Director EMEA at Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group

I am very excited to share our new water treatment capabilities video. This is the perfect medium to demonstrate the strength of how we partner with our customers to ensure the right solutions for their needs,” says Rachel Pallett – Regional Director EMEA at Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group.

I’m particularly delighted that Siltbuster, who has been a valued customer for such a long time, has allowed us to show how our technology is integrated into their systems. Our relationship with the Siltbuster team is very typical of the way we work with our customers – it’s about a shared commitment for excellence and quality.

About us

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) peristaltic tube and hose pumps meet requirements including: value for money; low cost of ownership; reliability and ease of maintenance to the food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining and many other industries.

We demonstrate how pumps deliver significant process efficiencies over the lifetime of the equipment. Whether performing flavouring addition in food processing, chemical metering in water treatment or mineral recovery, we have a solution which can cut pump downtime and reduce costs through higher accuracy metering and transfer. WMFTG has dedicated application engineers available to help customers make the right pump and tubing choice from a range providing microlitres per minute to 80 cubic metres per hour flow rates.

The only part of the pump to come into contact with the product is the tube or hose. This means there are no seals or valves that can wear or fail. Replacing the tube or hose can be performed quickly and safely. Peristaltic pump benefits include:

Total fluid containment with no seals No ancillaries Handle viscous and abrasive slurries and sludge Self-priming capability Dry running without damage to the pump In addition to their range of positive displacement pumps, Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group has added PTFE-lined chemical and industrial hoses to their range. Aflex hoses are reinforced to withstand the most severe conditions and use.
