Essentra Partners with Albert Genau to Deliver Innovative Push Button Swinghandle Lock System
Essentra Components has partnered with Albert Genau, a global market leader in the design and manufacturing of heavy-duty window systems, to offer a unique espagnolette locking system specifically for Albert Genau's state-of-the-art window guillotine systems.
To address Albert Genau's need for robust and reliable locking solutions across its sliding and folding glass systems, Essentra Components designed a first-of-its-kind Push Button Swinghandle Lock System. This pioneering product not only enhances functionality and durability but also delivers significant cost savings to optimise resource efficiency for Albert Genau.
The prestigious awards bestowed upon the Swinghandle Lock System include the Red Dot Award, IF Design Award, and Good Design Award for its outstanding design and performance.
Since 2015, Essentra has worked with Albert Genau to provide solutions, and this is no exception. Working in close collaboration, Essentra used advanced 3D CAD drawings and prototypes to assure that the locking system would meet the most stringent requirements. Among the key objectives were the development of a user-friendly, durable, and long-lasting lock that would integrate well with Albert Genau's window systems. The solution also met ergonomic and aesthetic standards based on Albert Genau's extensive customer research.
