SCREENING – FEEDING – CONVEYING -New Apex screener presented by Rotex
The APEX™ name is already synonymous with high accuracy & high efficiency screening however increasing constraints, within the health & safety legislation, and the needs of customers has led to the development of a screener that hopefully answers the questions that have been asked for some time namely
• Easier access to the lower decks
• Modularity
• Ball access
• Weight & storage improvements on screens
• Wear minimisation.
For dry granular fine aperture screening the Apex now answers these questions. The machine no longer has a removable top cover since all screens are accessed via drop down doors along either side. In addition the screening area has been partitioned to accept 760mm x 1065mm modular panels which not only have the mesh bonded onto disposable frames but weigh only 2kg. In addition the top & lower screen deck panels are interchangeable thereby allowing for total interchangeability & minimisation of spare screens. A centre partition now divides the left hand side from the right thereby allowing a mix of screen panels if fine tuning is required.
To access the screen media each side of the machine has self locking hinged doors that are opened to expose the screen decks. By simply unlocking a cam system the screen sections can unsealed & slid out. The screen media is then simply lifted off the ball tray & can be changed within 2 minutes of approaching the machine. Like the traditional Rotex the Apex is a suspended machine that can be supplied in mild steel or stainless steel with san quality finish if required.
Inlet & outlet options now include the SLIDER & NUTATING type that eliminate the need for flexible sleeves.
