Calibration Specialist Invests in Top Talent

Trescal, an international specialist in calibration, has recruited Eddie Bunnett to lead its newly opened Aberdeen Antech/Trescal laboratory.

Eddie, a specialised calibration professional, brings more than 30 years’ experience in the North Sea oil and gas sector, to this new role, having worked across a diverse range of senior management and technical engineering support positions.

At the facility, based on Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Eddie will be responsible for overseeing and growing business within the oil and gas field, along with developing the UKAS accredited facility as a hub for extended calibration services in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.

Commenting on his appointment, Robin Hastie, UK General Manager for Trescal said: “Eddie brings with him both experience and knowledge of a challenging sector, something that the team in Aberdeen will no doubt benefit greatly from. The newly expanded team is able to provide customers with the best extended calibration services including UKAS accredited differential pressure transmitter calibration and fiscal metering. The Antech Trescal Aberdeen laboratory is located at Unit 5, Robert Leonard Centre, Howe Moss Drive, Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Aberdeen, AB21 0GG. The Trescal Group acquired Antech in 2011.
