Industrial Video & Control Co and Elpro Technologies announce partnership
Newton, MA – February 17, 2009 – Industrial video specialist, Industrial Video and Control (IVC) and industrial wireless specialist, ELPRO Technologies, announced today their intention to collaborate in marketing industrially hardened wireless video systems.
The market demand for video systems in industrial plants and factories has exploded in recent years; however implementation of this technology has been limited by poor integration of a complete video system, and reliability concerns over the use of commercial specification equipment.
IVC offers a range of industrial video solutions that include enterprise-class camera management software and ruggedized IP camera hardware. For potentially hazardous areas, IVC has developed Class 1 Division 1 and Division 2 PTZ, fixed, and megapixel cameras. IVC’s software provides powerful and flexible features for viewing and controlling cameras from multiple locations, as well as sophisticated storage and automatic alarm functions.
Elpro, one of the early leaders of industrial wireless products, have been looking for an industrial video partner for some years, to respond to growing market demand in this area.
