CribMaster is helping its Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) customers control the cost of their inventory consumption with the ProStock, a carousel-type vending machine

In today’s market, manufacturing facilities are under tremendous pressure to reduce operational expenses. Efficient stock management and keeping the cost of inventory low is a necessity.

CribMaster actively works with its customers on addressing these issues thanks to a wide range of vending solutions and its advanced Inventory Management System software.

The ProStock is a carousel-type vending machine that discourages a ‘grab bag’ approach by dispensing one item at a time securely and conveniently, at their point of use.

Carousel dispensing provides the flexibility to issue one or multiple items while eliminating the unproductive time of walking to and from a tool crib. To retrieve items, workers use a self-authentication badge or code then select what they need. The software records the transaction and updates the database in real time.

The pie-shaped sections of the carousel allow for easy configuration of multiple-sized items. It is simple to reconfigure at any time making it a really flexible storage solution in the long-term.

Michele continued: “Just like any of our products, the ProStock is driven by CribMaster’s Inventory Management System software. It has helped many businesses lower costs and control stock consumption. In fact, implementation of the system has proven to reduce inventory spending by as much as 25 to 45%”

The ProStock comes as standard with 10 carousels. Each self-calibrating carousel is configurable for custom section dimensions and can function as a main or auxiliary unit.
