CAT PUMPS BOOSTS PERFORMANCE WITH NEW TRIPLEX PLUNGER PUMP
Cat Pumps Model 1560 is a compact unit capable of delivering flows of up to 30l/m at pressures up to 275 bar. This performance is almost twice the flow rate of a comparable sized existing pump from Cat Pumps. Before the arrival of the 1560 Plunger Pump, Cat Pumps says that a unit twice the size and price would have been required to provide a similar output.
Triplex plunger pumps deliver a very smooth liquid flow. The Model 1560 is built to Cat Pumps highest quality standards, having forged brass manifolds for strength and corrosion resistance and a die-cast aluminium crank case, which contributes to the pumps light weight (27.2 kg) and precision tolerance control. External leakage is prevented by the inclusion of lubricated lo-pressure seals and the close tolerance concentricity of the high density polished ceramic plungers maximises seal life.
With the new 1560, Cat Pumps has maintained its philosophy of manufacturing pumps that have excellent durability and long life. The chrome-moly crankshaft gives unmatched strength and surface hardness, and the 304 stainless steel valves and seats are hardened and polished for the best possible seating and extended life.
