NEW TRACE OXYGEN SENSOR LAUNCHED FOR THE BREWING INDUSTRY

Listen to this article

The new InPro 6950 dissolved and gaseous trace oxygen sensor guarantees exceptional measurement accuracy down to of 0.1 ppb (5 Vol. ppm in gas).

Mechanically the same as the existing sensors in the InPro 6900 series, the latest sensor has an innovative new 4-electrode measurement technology compared to the 3-electrode of the earlier series. A guard electrode protects the measurement electrode from the detrimental effects of side diffusion of oxygen.

Additionally, a separate silver/silver chloride reference electrode removes the electrochemical noise that affected the low level performance of systems with a combined anode/reference electrode. The new technology enhances the stability and sensitivity of the sensor and removes any risk at all of by-product deposition inside the sensor.

All these features make the InPro 6950 an ideal solution for oxygen control in the brewing industry.
