VOLUMETRIC FLOW MEASUREMENT PROSONIC FLOW 92F FROM ENDRESS+HAUSER: THE COST-EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE
As an inline ultrasonic flowmeter, Prosonic Flow 92F provides accurate and reliable results with both conductive and non-conductive fluids, offering better than 0.5% accuracy (optional 0.3%) for cost-effective inline flow measurement.
The 2-wire loop-powered Prosonic Flow 92F is suitable for hazardous area use in compliance with ATEX explosion proof or intrinsically safe versions. However, the real bonus comes when measuring the flow rate of non-conductive fluids: Endress+Hausers Prosonic Flow 92F ultrasonic flowmeter is a cost-effective alternative to Coriolis meters used for volumetric flow measurement. All this, and its also 420mA HART (additional status/pulse output optional), PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION Fieldbus compatible!
In many plants and processes, limited space is a factor when specifying measuring equipment. With the Prosonic Flow 92F, you only require minimal space: the configuration of the ultrasonic sensors ensures optimal scanning of the flow velocity distribution in the measuring section of the sensor, reducing the requirement for upstream straight pipe to less than five times the pipe diameter.
The Prosonic Flow F sensor is a multi-beam sensor consisting of a stainless steel sensor body, flanged process connections and 2, 3 or 4 pairs of ultrasonic sensors located in arrays directly opposite each other. The multi-beam sensor provides a fully comprehensive scan of the flow while also ensuring optimum performance in minimal space. Better still, there is no need for additional process gaskets as the ultrasonic sensors are welded into the sensor body.
The measurement requires no mechanical interaction with the flow, making it virtually maintenance-free and without additional pressure drop. Simple to set up, only the actual flow range needs to be defined, so youll be up and running in no time!
