LIQUIPHANT M THE IDEAL SOLUTION FOR LEVEL LIMIT DETECTION IN STORAGE TANKS
Liquiphant M is the ideal solution for both high and low liquid level detection in storage tanks. In addition to being cost-effective and easy to install, its also maintenance-free and can be remotely tested without removal from the process. Whats more, its 40mm long forks and ¾ inch process connection makes Liquiphant M suitable for use in applications where space is at a premium.
Vibronic technology can be used as an excellent problem solver for overfill protection. Fully complying with the latest regulations issued by the Health & Safety Executive, Endress+Hausers Liquiphant M is a reliable solution for pollution prevention and safety operation in tanks storing hazardous substances. Liquiphant M also complies with IEC 61508 offering a SIL2/3 rating and the range includes ATEX certified (EEx ia and EEx d) versions for hazardous area use.
Tried and tested technology
With over 2.5 million units already in the field, Liquiphant M is more than just a level switch. When uncovered, the Liquiphants forks vibrate at their resonant frequency. As it immersed in the liquid, the frequency reduces until it reaches the switch point, then an output is triggered. But how would you know if the system has ceased to function reliably due to corrosion?
Unique corrosion alarm
Unlike float switches, Endress+Hausers unique fork corrosion monitoring system means you can be you can be certain that when the resonant frequency rises above a critical point, Liquiphant M will raise the alarm. With vibration technology, build-up or sensor damage will also change the resonant frequency and raise the alarm, so youll know when theres a problem before it is critical.
