This unique reverse acting buckling pin bursting disc BT-KUB, incorporating a laser cut buckling pin design feature, works according to the formula calculated by Leonard Euler.

The BT-KUB can be used under the harshest process conditions at an operating ratio of up to 98 % of burst rating. Lowest tolerances are easily realised. Materials of construction of this disc offers flexibility in maximising corrosion resistance at the most economical cost.

The disc design comprises of two layers of material; upstream, the sealing membrane with its smooth and uninterrupted surface offers the ideal solution for problem free and safe CIP/SIP procedures, common in case of aseptic and sanitary applications.

Downstream the burst element is totally isolated from the process and can be confidently specified in economical standard stainless in the event their
are no corrosive vapours downstream of the disc.

The torque independent BT-KUB bursting disc is mounted into the bursting disc holder IG-KUB. System torque requirements are purely dependent on piping design, pressure class and the specific requirements of the types of gasketting used. The bursting disc response pressure performance is not influenced by the torque.

For burst pressures up to 1 barg (14.5 psig) the BT-KUB bursting disc can be installed directly between piping standard flanges without the need for a separate bursting disc holder.
