The reverse acting buckling pin bursting disc BT-KUB und the reverse acting bursting disc BT-IKB are installed in the bursting disc holder IG-KUB.
Consisting of two parts an inlet (upstream of the disc) and outlet (downstream of the disc) both parts are held together by means of a pre-assembly retaining assembly.
When the bursting disc requires replacing, the holder can be re-used unless damaged or corroded (If corroded the correct material specification for the process should be investigated).
The holder utilises metal-to-metal sealing, no additional gaskets are required. The bursting disc can be removed from the assembly, inspected and re-installed once it is satisfied that the disc is in good mechanical condition. 100% Leak tight integrity is maintained.

Heated Bursting Disc Holder for Special Applications
Bursting disc holders with integrated heating channels are used in case of e.g. polymerising media. The risks of adhesion and product accumulation are reduced to a minimum.
The heating channels are integrated all around the holder. The holder is easily and safely heated with hot water/vapour or thermal oil. Connections for preferred heating media can be via threaded or flanged connections.
Alternatively this holder unit can also be applied for cooling the bursting disc.
