Intergraph CAESAR II helps GENPRO succeed on a nuclear research reactor laboratory for the Brazilian government

Intergraph has published a new case study that describes how CAESAR II helped GENPRO Engenharia S.A. (GENPRO) succeed on a nuclear research reactor laboratory for the Brazilian government, including systems and equipment in the existing plant, a pressurized water reactor, and stress analyses of nuclear and non-nuclear piping for different levels of seismic response spectra.

GENPRO initially chose software specialized for nuclear analysis but quickly learned that it could only analyze one response spectra, which precluded the seismic analysis this project required. They turned to CAESAR II which enables the use of response spectra for each different level of routing the pipes. Combining these benefits with CAESAR II’s proven reliability allowed faster completion of the stress analysis and faster completion of the project, saving additional time and expense. CAESAR II is now supporting GENPRO as it expands in the rapidly growing Brazilian market.
